2022 Malbec
Known as “the black grape” for its dark color, our Malbec features a core of black cherry flavors with a cornucopia of diverse subtleties swirling around it in an ever-changing dance.
One of the hallmarks of the cooler 2022 vintage is a little extra brightness, a little extra vivaciousness in the flavors of many of our red wines. Our malbec is typically soft and smooth and dark, and it is still those things, but with some extra zing behind it all, turning the typical black cherry flavors into super-extra-double black cherry. It has a very youthful, juicy vibe to it now, that will mellow with age over the coming years. That will be fun to watch, if you can keep some in the bottle...
Full body, medium-plus acid, medium tannin. Black and red cherry flavors.
