2023 La Prossima

As founding Winemaker Matt Albee hands over the cellar to Armathia and Dane, this wine is the first example of “what’s next” for Eleven. And boy is it a stunner! This is Syrah turned up to 11. It’s got more of everything that makes Syrah great: more color, more texture, more intensity. Delicate florals accentuate the red plum in the nose, and in the mouth the bright fruit is joined by some white pepper and underpinned by the down-to-earthiness that you’d expect from such solid winemaking. It brings with it a delightful amount more tannin than you are used to in a Syrah.

Dry, full-bodied; medium-plus tannin, medium acid
